Hey yall!!!!!!!! well I've been keeping busy with working at PJ's!!!!!! whhhooohhooo! The Lord let me go back to work over there and i am SO thankful...i just pray that He would show me each day how to be an effective witness for Him while I'm at work....other than that I've been busy trying to get set up at college...got my ACT done...yuk!!! so glad I'm finished with that!!!!!!!  now i'm trying to get my time for classes and such set up....I will be majoring in Accounting and minoring in Music kind of a strange mix..I've played piano on and off my whole life but I never was taught much about actual music and it has been a major interest of mine as I was comin up...and also i love playing for the Lord.... if I could...I would do just that all day everyday!!! but right now I'm praying that the Lord would provide a bowed psaltery...ive been interested in learning it... first of all because i heard if you play piano and a stringed instrument your knowledge and feel for music will increase dramatically...secondly it is so beautiful!!! I heard it for the first time about 3 years ago(wow....it's been a while!! LOL!!!) at a revival meeting...and ever since then I've been wanting to learn how to play it...and thirdly since i don't have a piano to practice on anymore it would be awesome to get a bowed psaltry because i can carry it with me wherever i go and practice...so that is a few reasons why i chose to minor in music!!!! I kinda can't wait to start college, but then at the same time I'm kinda dreading at the thought of going back!!!!! well i got to go for now....i'll try to come up with something a little more interesting to read about next time!!!!! LOL!!!! TTYL!!!!!!!

Hey yall!!!!!!! Well this has been a crazy week!!!!! Our church youth group went to a church camp in Baton Rouge and at the last second the kids convinced me to go as a couselor!!!! I must admit that I really wasn't looking forward to trying to control a bunch of jr.high teenagers....but it actually turned out pretty good. We met alot of other teens from other churches and I was surprised that alot of the teens there were my age.....we all had such a good time!!! The church had skits they would put on before the services and also they would ask the audience if there was anyone with special talents or just crazy stuff that they do.....this is where I really wished I was back at home!!!!! It was fun watching all the insane things that the other teens and counselors could do...it went from wierd sounds, to back flips off the stage to touching and bending their bodies into abnormal positions.....Then one of the girls  from my group leaned over and looked at me.....I knew what she was thinking but their was no way I was going to get up there and do my Michael Jackson impression infront of 500 teens!!!! After a whole night of begging and pleading I worked up enough nerve to see about doing it....since it was my first time to be a counselor....I kinda felt like I would be considered boring to my group so......yes I did it just for them!!!!!!!! It was really intersting.....after they finally got me up there it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.......yall should have seen the faces on those kids!!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing because of their expressions!!!!!! That was the challenging, interesting part of camp....we also had alot of fun doing activities and games Tuesday and Wednesday....and then Thursday we had an Olympic tournament this is when all the different churches competed against each other in games....ohhh it was totally awesome!!!!! The tournament was in a huge field where the staff had set up sprinklers to get everything nice and mushy muddy.....it was sooooo much fun....It felt good to be able to be a kid again!!!!!!!we ended coming up in third place out of all the churches there which was pretty good considering that we only had a group of seven teens!!!!!I really had a blast and am so glad that the Lord gave me yet another opportunity to get to work with our kids and get to know them better......now I saved the best news for last.....Mrs. Kathy was the other counselor who came with us and we had prayed together about the kids in our group and asked the Lord to bless and use this time at camp to not only to have fun getting all hot and sweaty (and muddy) but also to speak to the kids and show them where they are with Christ. The Lord really showed up in the services Tuesday night and some of our teens began to search their hearts and Thursday night the Lord broke through the services like I haven't seen in a while.....so many teenagers were getting saved....it was so amazing!!!! It was also a wonderful blessing to be able to watch the Lord save one of the girls in our youth group that I am closest to, Mikaila. Thursday, which was the last night for us to meet, was such a good night and after the services we all worshiped the Lord and just had a blast praising Him for all the kids and even counselors that He had saved that week and that night. I am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to go and witness the transformation of so many people.....it was such a blessing...I hope that the Lord will let me go back again.....I learned alot.....now my prayer is that even though camp is over I want my heart to continue to stay on fire for Christ and to continue striving to become a heart after His heart and also to be the Godly example that I need to be for all the youth at Collins Blvd.

Well, that's part of my week......I had a blast but now I got to get back to work.....I don't have pics right now but I will put some in my album soon.....so....TTYL!!!
